Chinese companies seem to be losing their shine in the world market. As per the latest data, Chinese companies Alibaba Group Holding and Tencent Holdings have dropped out of the global top ten companies in market capitalization. With the new list, no companies from China are now on the top ten list.
The companies that are on the top ten list according to the ranking are:
· Apple Inc: The company deals in consumer technology, the design, manufacture, and market of smartphones, computers, tablets, home entertainment devices, and more. Some of its popular gadgets are iPhone and Mac computers. They have recently launched Apple+, a streaming service for on-demand entertainment content.
· Microsoft Corp: The company is well known for its Windows and Office Suite services. They are a global developer and licensor of software and device. They also have a cloud platform called Azure. They also own and operate LinkedIn.
· Alphabet Inc: This is the parent company of Google. The company offers a range of technological and digital services. Alphabet also works on other bets segments and other emerging businesses.
· Saudi Arabian Oil Co: The company is a Saudi Arabia-based oil and gas company. They also operate a chemical business and are known as Saudi Armanco in the gulf region.
· Amazon.com Inc: They are one of the biggest eCommerce retailers and sell a huge range of products. They also offer various subscription and web services too.
· Tesla Inc: The company is a leading manufacturer of electric vehicles. The company plans on including the development and manufacture of Tesla Semi and cybertruck. They also produce solar panels and other energy storage products.
· Meta Platforms Inc: Earlier known as Facebook, is a social media app. They own WhatsApp and Instagram too. They are also building and expanding metaverse as their new venture.
· NVIDIA Corp: The company was a pioneer of graphic processing unit whose initial primary applications were PC graphics and video games. They developed graphic processors and related software.
· Berkshire Hathway Inc: The company manufactures products for construction, industrial uses, and more. They own a large number of subsidiaries too.
· Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd: They operate as a semiconductor foundry. Semiconductors are used in many electronic products.
